![]() ![]() This game surprised me, in part because using the hammer or the axatana never got old for me, as well as properly using the harden mechanic to just double your combo time and do flawless defeats of harder enemies, like the giant hammer dudes in the Narthex. And levels are quite a bit too linear and short, as the game overall (even if you can do the 3 temples in any order), but the game left me wanting more, after more than 20h, while other "smaller" soulslikes didn't (both Surge games for instance, or Ashen, I had my fill with each). ![]() I liked it because he is very customizable (although more expensive) and has a bigger health pool and can also slowly upgrade the stamina pool temporarily (although with ripostes, which I didn't really like in this game), but ultimately Tiel is the real deal for bosses because of the improved evasion (feels like cheating) and no stamina draining dash, even with much tinier health pool (if you have enough shrooms or rats).īosses are mostly easy, the axatana is indeed very broken (but I loved it), the hammer and chisel works wonders anyway and has probably the best hit feedback in the game. ![]() I beat the game yesterday, used Tiel for 80% of the time once I unlocked it, but managed to upgrade Hadren? (dlc class) to the max too and used that for a bit of the last temple too. Bonus if you can stagger with your weapon or recover a lot of stamina while hardened. I enjoy having a big stamina pool in this game and not letting anyone touch me. ![]()
